The Kanha National Park (Madhya Pradesh, India) is a jungle lodges located in the Mandladistrict of Madhya Pradesh that covers nearly 2,000sq. km of undulating country. These grasslands are interspersed with forests of sal, teeming with varieties of deer the Barasingha, Chital (Spotted Deer), Chousingha, Nilgai, the Gaur (Indian Bison) and Wild Pig, is 'tiger country'. Kanha is the home to 'hard ground' Barasingha (cervus duvauceli branderi) the only surviving population of this Central Indian sub-species.

The animals at Kanha are best observed from elephant back & jeeps. Deer are seen along the maidans and gaur at Bamhnidadar or in the Bishanpura-Sondhar-Ghorella area of the Mukki range. This area is also ideal for spotting the dhole or wild dog. Langurs, wild boar, water fowl and birds are also commonly seen

Kanha is typically visited as a weekend Getaway Ex-Nagpur / Jabalpur or as a part of MP Itinerary covering Pench, Pachmarhi, Jabalpur and Bandhavgarh.

FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS (Jungle Plan) :

• Valid till 30th June 2008

• Single - Rs 7,000/- per night 

• Double - Rs 10,000/- per night 

Jungle plan includes : Accommodation, all meals, 2 jungle jeep safari, all entrance and guide charges & taxes.
 
ELEPHANT RIDE (TIGER SHOW ) IS ON DIRECT PAYMENT @ RS 600/- PER PERSON

Also please note that on the given dates there will be an additional supplement of Rs 1200/- per person per day. The dates are :

• 2 days before and 3 days after Diwali ( 6 days )

• 2 days before and 3 days after Holi ( 6 days )

• 21 December to 5th January ( 16 days )
