HARDER KULM

Famously known as Interlaken’s home mountain- Harder Kulm forms a short and delightful excursion at the back door of this scenic Swiss city. The Harder Railway, actually a funicular, is almost 100 years old and still going strong! From the world famous resort of Interlaken, the little red carriages climb the 1.4 km track to the Harder Kulm (1,322 m ) giving a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the entire Jungfrau Region.

The Alpine foothills to the north and mighty 4000-metre peaks to the south form a garland around the Harder. This attractive vantage point offers fine views of the Bernese Oberland.
