Accommodation

Rooms
There are 12 spacious and airy guest rooms, on the first floor of the resort structure. The size of the rooms is in the range of 225 Square Feet to 400 Square Feet. These rooms have Twin / Double Beds, attached Bathrooms with hot/cold running water, Heating / Cooling and other modern amenities are required for a comfortable stay.

Swiss Cottage Tents
There are 10 Swiss Cottage Tents pitched on rolling lawns. These tents have an attached tented bathroom with modern plumbing and running hot/cold water, electricity, heating / cooling, twin / double beds and other modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. Each tent has a verandah of 72 Square Feet, a bedroom of 144 Square Feet and a Toilet of 72 Square Feet.

Safari Tents
The Ranthambhore Bagh also has Safari Tents with Dry Bathroom Tents, which are used for night out camping. A complete camp for 20 persons can be set up at any nearby tourist spots for bird watching, picnicing, night outs etc.

Resort Capacity & Conference Facilities
The resort can accommodate 50 guests, 30 in rooms and 20 in Swiss tents. The resort also has a conference hall which can accommodate upto 50 guests.

FOR CHILDREN

No charge for children below 5 years of age. The above-mentioned rates are valid for children between the age of 5 and 12 years, sharing the accommodation with parents.

NOTE

• Only 17 Jeeps are permitted to go inside the Park at any one time. This has been done to avoid over crowding inside the Park. As a result, there is a huge demand for such vehicles. Gypsys, right now cannot be booked in advance but the system for advance booking of Gypsys should be in place by the end of October 2006. Once the system for advance booking of Gypsys is in place, visitors would be strongly advised to book the Gypsys well in advance.

• The Gypsy rates given above are for "exclusive" Gypsys in which a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 visitors are permitted. The rates for Canters are on a per person basis.

• At the time off booking of jeeps, the entire entry fees have to be paid to the forest department (a Government body). In case of cancellations, the forest department does not offer any refund. Seats on the safari bus (Canter) are not booked in advance and visitors can request for these on arrival at Ranthambhore.

• There is no fee for still cameras. For video cameras, one has to pay an entry fee of Rs 200 for every visit.
